Social Service Association of Ridgewood and Vicinity This is the information page for SSA events, community happenings and volunteer opportunities.

Services offered include:
-Food supplied through our on site food pantry
-Food vouchers for local Stop and Shop
-Limited housing assistance: emergency rent/mortgage and utility payments
-Limited Child care scholarship for day and summer child care
-Children's birthday bags and back to school supplies
-Holiday programs include Thanksgiving meal and gifts for the December Holidays for school aged children
-Client advocacy
-Referrals made to other agencies for additional services

🚨Opportunities for students! 🚨 SSA is seeking motivated service-minded students in grades 10–12 as of September to serve on the Youth Advisory Leadership Council and take an active role in the Social Services Association.

Five positions: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Volunteer Coordinator, or Marketing/Communications.

Students will oversee a broader committee of youth volunteers (grades 6–12) to organize initiatives, support pantry events, and raise awareness.

Students from Ridgewood, Wyckoff, Midland Park, Waldwick, Glen Rock, and Ho-Ho-Kus are invited to apply.
