In case you didn't know your local libraries are a big part of making the Dolly Parton Imagination Library a success for the last 20 years in Hardin County. The program works hard to have a rep from each of the Hardin County Libraries to make sure we are reaching as many kids as possible in our County. We are currently sitting at 64% of Hardin County kids receiving books in the mail. This means 1,195 kids each month get a book and so far this year we have mailed out 9,263 books. We would love to grow that number but are so happy for those lucky kids who do get to go to the mail box and get their book every month. We love hearing about how happy they were to get the mail with their name on it. With this said, we are always so thankful to all those who help make this happen and a lot of that is through donations. We have been so lucky to have some wonderful people donate to this awesome program over the years.
