Looking for a night of good food, good people and supporting a worthy cause? Well, this is it! Members of the Ridgefield Police Department will be taking orders, filling drinks and raising money for Special Olympics of Connecticut. Come out on Monday June 29th from 5pm-9pm and support your local Special Olympic Athletes.
Tips received and 10% of the nights sales get donated to SOCT.

Public relations is a vital component of community policing, particularly here in Ridgefield. While this is often easier to manage during the day and evening shifts, the midnight shift finds creative ways to engage with the community. One of those locations is the Gas.co station on Danbury Road.

Over time, our officers have built strong relationships and friendships with the staff there. This open communication helps the Ridgefield Police Midnight Shift address public safety goals and community concerns more effectively.

Attached is a photo of the midnight shift with Reishy, the overnight employee at Gas.co. The team gathered to wish him farewell on his last shift before he moves to a new opportunity in Ohio.

The Ridgefield Police Department is proud to be a part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, benefiting the Special Olympics. Officers from Ridgefield, Wilton, Redding, CT State Police, athletes, and supporters participated in running the torch through town. Special thank you to the Prospector Theater, East Ridge Middle School, Veterans Park Elementary School, Ridgefield Bicycle Company, and everyone who supported us along the way!

The Ridgefield Police Department and Wilton Police Department are proud to be a part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run, benefiting the Special Olympics. On Friday, June 5 at approximately 9:30am, officers, athletes, and supporters will be participating in running the torch through Ridgefield and Wilton. Come out and cheer our athletes and officers!
