Congratulation to School Resource Officer (SRO) Biros! The last two weeks SRO Biros was busy learning and sharpening his teaching skills to become a certified D.A.R.E. Instructor. SRO Biros will now head back to his assigned school on Tuesday (9/8/26).

Others require hours, days, and in some cases months of investigation. Behind each number is a real situation: someone in need of help, a concern in our community, or an incident that requires thorough follow-up. Our officers do their best to treat every call with the time and attention it deserves. We thank you for your continued support.

Yesterday, Ofc. Pagliuco participated in the CT United Ride to pay tribute to the victims, survivors and heroes of 9/11. The ride consists of traveling 60 miles throughout numerous towns in Fairfield County. We were honored to participate in this ride for the first time.

The Ridgefield Police Department would like to remind motorists to know and obey school bus laws. Drivers are required to stop for a school bus that has red lights flashing and its stop arm extended. Violations of this law carries some of the heaviest fines of any traffic violation.
