15 years.

It's hard to believe that it has been 15 years since the unexpected passing of Battalion Chief Vic Fugnitti.

At that time, Vic was in the first year of his term as Chief in the Ridgefield Fire Department.

Vic always maintained that youthful enthusiasm, was a great mentor to all, and was a cornerstone of Company 2.

Vic, you are missed.

The Ridgefield Fire Department has received word from the North Pole that Santa will be in the Borough of Ridgefield this Saturday December 23rd doing his final checks of his naughty and nice list. Make sure you listen for the sirens and say hello to santa before he departs back to the North Pole.

Bryan was a staple in the firehouse and will sorely be missed.

In August of last year, Ex Captain, Charlie “Rink” Rosone was called home. His son Steve Rosone recently donated a nozzle to Company 2 in Charlie’s name. The department got it engraved and put it in service right away. Thank you to the Rosone family for this generous donation. Charlie will ride with us for years to come…
