Please be reminded we will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day. The Recycling Center is closed Saturday and Monday. We will resume normal scheduled collection on Tuesday.

🚨 IMPORTANT DPW UPDATE

Starting in August, there will be NO bulk trash pick-up. Only household garbage will be collected. This is being done for the health and safety of our DPW employees, who have experienced heat-related injuries while collecting heavy bulk items in extreme summer heat. Bulk pick-up returns in September.

The Recycling Center remains open Monday–Saturday, 9AM–12PM, for resident drop-off. Proof of residency required; no house or apartment clean-outs accepted.

The Village has also adopted new garbage & recycling ordinance changes, including updated can size limits (starting Sept 1), new Styrofoam disposal rules, and updated recycling guidelines designed to keep our program running smoothly and cost-effective for all residents.

Take your hazardous waste to a safer place! Tomorrow, Saturday, July 18th from 9am-3pm at Campgaw Mountain Reservation there will be a Hazardous Waste Collection Event from the Bergen County Utilities Authority.

Collection events are free for Bergen County residents (ID is required). No commercial vehicles allowed, and no business or commercial waste will be accepted. For assistance or more information, visit www.bcua.org

We are so excited to introduce our new magnet to the residents of Ridgefield Park! These magnets were delivered to all homes on Monday, June 29th. The magnet includes a QR code that can be used to access our webpage on the Village website. Our webpage is full of information including the monthly calendar.
