Congratulations to the Village for once again receiving the Gardella Safety Award from the South Bergen Joint Insurance Fund. This award is for 2025 and is the highest award that can be received. The Village has earned this acknowledgement for the last few years and we are very proud of the safety measures taken by all departments to help achieve this level of accreditation.

Pothole on a Village road? Now there's an easy way to report it.

Use the new online form at ridgefieldpark.org to submit directly to DPW. When filling out the form, be as specific as possible. Include the address, nearest cross street, and any nearby landmarks. The more detail you provide, the better equipped DPW will be to locate and schedule the repair.

Not sure if the road is maintained by the Village? Some roads in Ridgefield Park fall under state or county jurisdiction. Use the NJDOT Public Problem Reporting tool at njdotproblemreporting.nj.gov to check. Your report will be routed to the right agency automatically.

Scheduling a white goods pickup with the Village just got easier. The Department of Public Works now accepts requests online!

Not sure what counts as white goods? Think large household appliances: refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, water heaters, and A/C units. Metals, tires, and electronics are also included.

This is part of our ongoing work to improve ridgefieldpark.org and make Village services easier to access.

Requests must be submitted by Tuesday at 2:00PM to be included in that week's pickup. Requests submitted after the deadline will be scheduled for the following week. Pickup takes place between 9:00AM and 2:00PM. Please note: you will not receive a confirmation call.
