The Richmondville Fire Department is deeply saddened by the loss of Firefighter William (Billy) Lape. He honorably served as a firefighter for Richmondville and Sharon Springs, Chaplain for RFD, Town Judge in Sharon Springs, Village Trustee for Richmondville, and veteran of the United States Air Force. May he rest in peace, and we will continue his legacy.
We express our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
