Wilton House Museum had a fun night out at City Stadium with the Richmond Kickers! This annual event hosted with Virginia Association of Museums included a great soccer game and a chance to learn about and visit all 17 museums on NIGHT AT THE MUSEUMS! If you missed it last night, make sure you come next year. It was wonderful to share Wilton House’s mission and have fun at this family friendly community event!

Join us for an exclusive panel discussion connecting craftsmanship, artistry, archaeological curation, and historical research. Moderated by Wilton House Museum Executive Director Amanda Keller, this event features three trailblazing voices in the decorative arts: Genevieve Wheeler Brown, an art world advisor and author of Beyond Blue & White; Merry Outlaw, Senior Curator for Jamestown Rediscovery and author of Following the Dragon; and world-renowned ceramics artist Michelle Erickson, whose work is exhibited in major museums like the Victoria and Albert Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Drawing on decades of combined experience handling masterpiece designs and historical artifacts, these experts will explore how women are shaping our understanding of material culture and how ceramics forge our global connections.
