Congratulations to David Moorman, an SEI 2018 alumnus, on announcing his retirement as Botetourt County's deputy county administrator at the end of 2026. Moorman was assistant to the county administrator in Goochland County and county administrator in Buckingham County (1990–1994), before a time in the private sector. Beginning his service to Botetourt in 1995, Moorman has served in a variety of positions, including development services manager, assistant county administrator, acting county administrator, and, since 2001, deputy county administrator.
