DOLI encourages all Virginia employers to:
• Review and update your safety policies, emergency plans, and training materials
• Engage with your employees, ask for feedback, and ensure two-way communication regarding hazard recognition and control
• Training—every employee should complete annual refresher training
• Be accountable—establish clear, measurable safety metrics and ensure compliance with workspace hazard rules
