As Virginians prepare to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, today marked a milestone for Virginia Mobile ID as newly appointed Commissioner Saundra M. Jack completed the ceremonial 250,000th download!

Since March, downloads have more than doubled! This reflects the growing number of Virginians who use the digital credential to carry their valid state-issued driver’s license or ID card and trust it as a secure form of identification.
