The Spirit Card sales were a huge success. Thank you to all the families and friends that helped with the fundraiser. Our top seller and winner of the $50 Amazon Card was D.J. Fitzpatrick. The winners of the jellyfish lamp were Harper Scott and Zachary Peyton. Class that sold the most cards was Mr. Barnes' 3rd Grade and class that had the most participation was Mrs. Kerns' 3rd grade. Both classes will get a bonus recess with popsicles. We sold enough for Ms. Lilly and Ms. Muse to be taped to the wall at our first Triple A Assembly. Again, your support makes Triple A, Golden tickets, and so much more possible.

Save the date: October 23 the DBEPTA will host the annual Fall Costume Ball. We need your help, we are looking for sponsors for the Trick or Treat Hallway, prizes for the spin the wheel, sodas and snacks to sell, and prizes for the costume contest. Come join us for our annual Hispanic Heritage celebration. We will celebrate culture, traditions, music and food of Hispanic and Latino communities. We invite the entire school to join us for this night of fun!! There will be games, entertainment and giveaways!! Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Happy FriYAY DBE Families!
We've had an exciting second full week of school. We are sure your Pioneers are coming home tired from all of the growing they are doing here at school. Your Pioneer is bringing home our Student Handbook AND the Kentucky Academic Standards Family guides for their grade level.
Please take the time to review all of the information in the Student Handbook and sign and return the signature sheet in your Pioneer's green folder. Please remember that students are not allowed to bring toys or other personal items to school, as these often distract from learning. The Family Guides are to keep you in the loop about the learning that your Pioneer will be doing this school year! Have a wonderful weekend!
