Girls Inc. of Wayne County teamed up with the United Way of Whitewater Valley - Wayne & Union Counties and Primex to build the magical City of Oz entirely from canned goods! 🌈🏙️💚

This creative project is about more than imagination and teamwork; every can used in the display will help support local families in our community.

We’re proud to partner together to inspire strong, smart, and bold girls while giving back in a meaningful way.

On June 8, United Way of Whitewater Valley closed its doors at 129 S. Ninth St. and you can now find us in the Achieva Resources building at 800 Mendelson Dr. in Richmond.

"We're excited about moving to a new building where we'll be surrounded by some of our nonprofit community partners. We're also open to the collaborative possibilities that might arise from that proximity," said Karen Pipes, Board Chair for United Way of Whitewater Valley. "The move also provides us with additional space for Board meetings and community events and reduces some of our operational costs."
