Youth As Resources of Wayne County Empowering youth to realize their potential and positively influence their community.

YAR teaches youth of the Wayne County Community to be leaders now and for the future. Youth members of the community have the opportunity to hold a seat on our organizations board and plan community projects alongside adults, have a vote in what the organization stands for and will represent in the community and head up committees for projects and events they would like to see happen in Wayne Coun

ty. YAR also coordinates a school club that embraces students to be apart of project planning and implementation that may not have the time to be apart of the YAR board. Students work together with their classmates and plan projects to benefit their school or community.
