National Wildlife Day is the perfect time to learn about your local wildlife on Maymont’s Virginia Wildlife Trail — a forever home to our rescued animal ambassadors, who are mostly native species. 🦊

For an enhanced trail experienced, we recommend a Trail Trek which is a guided walking tour offered on Saturdays and Sundays. 🥾 Led by an environmental educator, you’ll get insight into each animals favorite spots and get binoculars for better viewing. 👀 Your guide will share species education and stories about our ambassadors. Plus, you’ll get to watch an animal enrichment. 🌾 🦬
