The promise of Spring is in the air! The bees' energy is a harbinger of renewal and growth, which we all surely need. (Even if we need to chase it down, as you see attempted here)
Happy spring. Friends!

Our Story

Tuckahoe was the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson, and was registered as a National Historic Landmark for it’s historic and architectural significance. It is considered to be among the finest seventeenth/early eighteenth-century plantation homes in America. Built between 1730 and 1740, this unique Randolph family home and many of it’s original outbuildings have persisted through the centuries.

Tuckahoe’s grounds and gardens are open daily from 9am - dusk for self-guided tours. The historic home is available to tour during our open hours on Sundays from 1-4pm, or by appointment (804-774-1614). Tuckahoe also provides a beautiful setting for special events and photography sessions (804-971-8329).
