Students in Mrs. Druen's Career & Tech Lab began working on their first career module today! We can't wait to see all of the exciting hands-on activities they get to do this year while learning about different careers.

Mr. Burns’ science classes were engineering the tallest tower made out of 30 index cards and 2 feet of tape. The objective was to build the tallest tower using all the material to hold a specific amount of weight.

Dear Community Partners,

Clark-Moores Middle School is building Champions in the Making! This year, we started a school-wide positive behavior program to celebrate students when they make great choices and show strong character.

We are opening a PBIS Student Store where students can turn in earned points for rewards, and we are reaching out to ask if you would consider donating to help stock our store.

We are currently collecting:

Individual chips, candy, or drinks

Small prizes or Croc charms

$5–$25 gift cards for local spots

Any contribution helps us keep our middle schoolers motivated to do their best. Items can be dropped off at our main office, or we can coordinate a pickup.

Students in Mrs. Worrell’s encore class are strengthening their musical skills by working in small ensembles!
We love playing duets and trios together with friends, while it also challenges us in a different way than full band through more personal accountability, problem-solving together, and making our own musical decisions!

Students in Mrs. Lynch’s and Mrs. Barker’s science classes are diving into the world of molecules! They are building simple molecules using hands-on materials, exploring online simulations, rotating through interactive stations, and reading articles to deepen their understanding.

These activities are helping students prepare for their first unit test of the year while working toward the standard 6-PS1-1: Develop models to describe the atomic composition of simple molecules and extended structures.

We love seeing our students learning through hands-on exploration and collaboration!

Calling all CMMS 6th–8th graders! Unleash your imagination and explore your creative side with The Creativity Crew, a brand-new after-school club starting NEXT WEDNESDAY, September 2nd.

What We'll Be Doing:

🎨 Art & Crafts: Express yourself through painting, drawing, and hands-on design projects.

📰 School Newspaper: Write articles, interview your peers, and design the next issue.

📚 Read & Share Stories: Dive into book club discussions, character design, and creative writing.

👩‍🍳 Cooking & Baking: Try out fun new recipes and make delicious treats.
