Many of us have had the hallmark thoughts of imposter syndrome: "I’m such a phony! A fraud! They’re going to figure out I don’t belong here!"
But, as powerful as these thoughts are, they’re probably not true.

Women’s mental health is important because it affects overall well-being, families and communities, and women face unique risks.

Conditions like depression, anxiety and eating disorders are more common in women, and hormonal changes can also impact mental health. Some women experience symptoms during pregnancy, after childbirth, around their menstrual cycle or during menopause.

Recognizing these differences helps ensure women get the right support and care.

Here's a stat worth moving for: Regular physical activity can help prevent heart disease, type 2 diabetes, some cancers, and even depression. 🏃‍️ According to the CDC, adults need at least:
💪 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity per week (like brisk walking)
💪 2 days of muscle-strengthening activities per week

That's just 22 minutes a day. A walk during lunch, a bike ride after dinner, or a dance break at home counts!

Can't do it all at once? That's okay. Even short bursts of movement throughout your day add up and make a real difference for your long-term health.

Kids’ mental health matters every day. 💚

Children and teens face many challenges as they grow, and supporting their emotional well-being is just as important as caring for their physical health. By listening, showing compassion, and connecting families with helpful resources, we can help young people build resilience and thrive.

This month, take time to check in with the kids in your life, start open conversations about feelings, and explore tools that support healthy minds and bright futures.

Content warning: This post discusses self-harm and self-injury.

March is Self-Injury Awareness Month.

Knowing how to support someone who’s harming themself can be really difficult. The most important thing you can do is create a safe, judgment-free space for them to share and heal.

Being supportive of your loved one and knowing what resources are available goes a long way toward helping them get the help they need.
