Friends of the Madison County Public Library

Friends of the Madison County Public Library Supporting the Madison county public library The purpose of this organization is to promote library programs and services not funded by the Library Board.

The Friends of the Madison County Public Library is separate from, and in addition to, the Madison County Public Library Board and is a non-profit body. The Friends raise money in various ways, including dues, to: purchase books, equipment and materials; provide special programs; and provide various forms of appreciation to the library staff.

The first day of Spring is the best day to announce the Friends of the Madison County Public Library Spring Book Sale! Stop by the Berea location on Saturday, April 5 to grab some great deals on gently used books and other items. Fill a small bag for $5 or a large library bag for $10.

All proceeds go to support the Madison County Public Library.

Don’t forget to place your bids on the beautiful little quilts! Just 5 days left! All quilts come with a copy of the book that inspired their creation. These dynamic duos make excellent gifts!

There are three ways you may place a bid for the little quilts:

1. You may use a smart phone to scan the code. To scan with a smart phone, open the camera app and hold it over the QR code. When the link pops up, click on the link and it will take you to the online bidding form.

2. You may also visit https://apps.madisonlibrary.org/auction/quilts2023.php. Click on the quilt you wish to bid on and it will take you to the bidding form.

3. You may visit your local library branch and ask for assistance with placing an online bid for one of the quilts.
