Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 2026 State of the City!

It was an honor to share Richmond's story, celebrate our progress, and look ahead to the opportunities that await our community.

This year's theme, "Built on Legacy. Focused on the Future,” reflects the spirit of Richmond. We are proud of the foundation laid by those who came before us, and we remain committed to building a strong future for generations to come.

Richmond's story is one of progress, resilience, and community. As we reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and look ahead to the future, I am grateful for the residents, businesses, community organizations, and city team members who help make Richmond such a special place to call home.

The State of the City is an opportunity to share where we are, celebrate what we've achieved together, and discuss the exciting opportunities ahead for our community.

I enjoyed spending time with Marvin Marcell and State Representative Matt Morgan discussing important issues and priorities that may impact Richmond and communities across Texas during the upcoming 90th Legislative Session.
