My fellow Virginians, it has been an honor serving as the 42nd Lieutenant Governor of our great Commonwealth.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside dedicated public servants and engaged citizens across Virginia. May the Lord bless Virginia and continue to guide her future.

On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we thank the courageous men and women in federal, state, and local law enforcement who serve our communities and risk their lives to protect us.

May the Lord be with these heroes every day, and may their families rest in His peace and protection.

This week, Virginia Department of Emergency Management and Food For The Poor coordinated the donation of more than 14,900 prepackaged emergency meals for distribution in Jamaica.

Thank you to the dedicated teams at VDEM and Food For The Poor for making this effort possible! These meals will directly support continued disaster relief after Hurricane Melissa and assist communities as they continue the recovery process.

Nearly 15,000 emergency meals are bringing hope to communities in Jamaica recovering from recent storms, thanks to the Commonwealth of Virginia. 💙

We’re grateful for this partnership and for the leadership of Lieutenant Governor of Virginia as families receive much-needed relief.

As the holiday season concludes and we celebrate a new year, may we take time to reflect on everything the Lord provided in 2025 and look ahead to 2026. Thank you to the dedicated service members, first rescuers, and health care professionals who spend the holidays away from their loved ones protecting and serving us.

Merry Christmas! Today, we rejoice in the Savior being born. May this season be filled with gratitude, hope, and joy. We pray a blessing of thanks and protection for our brave service members and first rescuers spending today and the holiday season away from their families. May God watch over them and bring them home safely.

Congratulations to Scott C. Beardsley on his unanimous selection to become the next president of the University of Virginia! As the dean of UVA Darden School of Business, he has achieved immeasurable success in making Darden a top-ranked public business school. I look forward to seeing that same leadership and vision guide UVA into its next chapter.
