All comments posted to any City social media site are bound by Social Media’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, and the City reserves the right to report any violation of a Social Media’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities to the social media site with the intent of the social media site taking appropriate and reasonable responsive action.

Join us for our next Tasty Tuesday on June 9th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Irvine-McDowell Park!

Vendors on site will be Cindy Lou Who's Kettle Corn and Delights, Drea's Catfish Bucket, Fully Loaded , Jenabelle Treats, Kona Ice of the Bluegrass, Dreaming Creek Brewery, and Chenault Vineyards.

Live music will begin at 6:00 PM with Josh Gilbert!

We are excited to partner with the Madison County Farmers Market again this season, who will be setting up weekly at Tasty Tuesdays!

NOTE: Lancaster Ave Lot will be OPEN during Tasty Tuesdays. There is additional parking in the EKU Adam's Lot and in the EKU Crabbe Street Lot.

Our 2026 Kids Fishing Derby is on Saturday, June 6th, from 8:00 - 10:00 AM at the Lake Reba Boat Dock!

Registration begins at 8:00 AM. Children 16 & under are invited to participate. All participants should be accompanied by an adult and bring their own fishing equipment. There will be prize giveaways throughout the event!

Bait will be provided by Madison County FRYSC and Operation UNITE.
They will also be providing FREE breakfast to the kids in attendance!

KY Department of Fish and Wildlife will also be on site.

First Tuesday of the Month, May - September | 5:15 - 5:50 PM
Join us for a FREE community drop-in drum circle! Bring a chair and create a beat! Sanjay Blevins, a 21-year-old young man with Down Syndrome, has been awarded a Community Involvement Grant. The purpose of the grant is to develop a project centered around a passion that Sanjay has in order to foster inclusion in the community in which he lives.

Richmond Parks and Recreation's Park & Play program returns on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Irvine-McDowell Park! This is a FREE pop-up mobile program focused on bringing recreation and wellness to our community! For ages 3 - 12.

There will also be a Spray & Play from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. This FREE program is a partnership with the Richmond Fire Department. They turn their hose into a sprinkler system for the kids to play in!

Activities include Arts and Crafts, Water Activities, Yard Games, Music, Bubbles, Sports & Fitness, Sensory Bins, and more!

Kona Ice also serves kids in attendance FREE Kona!
