Today, the Franklin County Board of Commissioners proudly recognized the dedicated professionals who provide emergency medical care in our communities by proclaiming May 17–23, 2026, as Emergency Medical Services Week and May 20, 2026, as Emergency Medical Services for Children Day.

Whether responding to a medical emergency, accident, or call for help, EMS personnel provide skilled care, compassion, and reassurance when it matters most. These teams are there for our communities every day - often during life’s most difficult moments.

Thank you to all EMS personnel, first responders, dispatchers, and healthcare partners serving Franklin County. We appreciate everything you do for our communities!
