Friendly reminder when picking up and dropping off at the elementary school. regardless of which direction you come from please do not continue beyond the exit to Ellis Rd. Use the Ellis Rd exit as a funnel from both sides. This will help keep traffic flowing in a single direction and keep it safer for everyone.

I'll be there!

Hello, CHES families! Tomorrow night is going to be spook-tacular! Join us at 5:30 for our PTA Trunk or Treat! Be sure to bring the kiddos in their best costumes for candy, fun, and community spirit!

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Afterward, head on over to cheer on our 4th-6th grade tackle football team. They're also hosting a chili supper with cinnamon rolls starting at 6:30, all for just $5 per meal!

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow night—it's going to be a real treat!"

Yesterday students got a chance to hear from Abigail Truman with Franklin County EMS along with Charli Murphy and Brittany Bowers from Franklin County Emergency Communications. Interested students learned what it takes to start a career in these fields.

Dispatch also presented a fairly new technology that helps emergency services find your exact location. What three words is a GEO locating app that can give first responders your exact coordinates if you happen to have a medical emergency in a place with no exact address, such as a field during harvest!
You can download the app for free through the app store. Reach out if you have any questions.

Parents! It's been brought to my attention that a TikTok account claiming to be from Canada has started adding a lot of CHS kids. Whoever this person is has started messaging students "looking for friends." CHS students as young as 5th grade have been contacted by this person. It's always a good idea to monitor your kids social media activity so they do not fall victim to the numerous scams that affect 1000's of kids every year. Reach out if you have any questions.
