Families within a community know better than anyone what their community needs. Low-income families know resources and barriers within their community. Taking part in a community needs assessment is a way to share life experiences. It helps leaders understand what is working and what is not, so programs can be created that truly help families.
It is also important to have a voice in your local community action agency. When you speak up, you help decide how support and services are planned. Your voice can make sure help goes to the people who need it most. By sharing your thoughts, you can help make your community stronger for your family and others.
If you can attend please come!
