For a lot of families here, a morning at the movies is out of reach. Cost gets in the way. So does accessibility, and transportation. Free Movie Day removes those barriers for one morning. What we raise removes them all year: summer camps, respite for tired parents, Special Olympics, scholarships, advocacy.

On Saturday, September 26, The Arc of Tri-Cities takes over all 10 auditoriums at Fairchild Cinemas in Kennewick. Nearly 1,500 neighbors. Showtimes from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Sensory-friendly and Spanish-language showings. Admission free for every single person who walks through the door.

Free for them. Not free to put on. That is where you come in.

👕 Any donation of $25 or more gets you the event tee. Navy, with a whole theater full of cartoon animals on the back and the line that says it best: Every Child. Every Family. Every Seat. Sizes S through 3XL, while they last. Wear it on the 26th and you will spot your people all over the lobby.

Your gift funds what we do all year: inclusive summer camps, scholarships, family respite, Special Olympics, advocacy, and friendships that stick. We fundraise through Zeffy, so 100% of what you give reaches the mission. No platform fees skimmed off the top.

Thanks to this community, $19,235 has come in toward our $40,000 goal for The Arc Free Movie Day. That leaves $20,765 to raise and 18 days to do it.

First Interstate's $5,000 gift goes straight into services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. That is scholarships, Community Access for 192 adults every week, Buddy Club, Special Olympics for 356 athletes, and summer camp for more than 200 local kids.
