Back to school = massive water deliveries! 🎒💧

Last week, we kicked off the 2026-2027 school year by delivering water that does more than just hydrate. It directly funds local scholarships and school clubs! 🎓✨

September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month! 🎒📚 At Richland Electric Cooperative, your safety is always our top priority—both inside and outside the home. Whether you are moving into a dorm, an apartment, or heading back to class, keep these essential electrical and personal safety tips in mind:

🔌Avoid overloading outlets: Never plug multiple high-wattage appliances (like microwaves, mini-fridges, and hair dryers) into one outlet or extension cord.
🤳Check your tech: Look for frayed cords or loose plugs on laptops and phone chargers. Replace them immediately to prevent fire hazards.
🎧Stay alert: Keep your head up and avoid looking down at your phone or wearing noise-canceling headphones when walking alone.
📲Program emergency numbers: Save your campus security number and local emergency services directly into your phone contacts.
