We’re excited to welcome Kayla's Blacksmithing to the Richfield Historical Society this weekend!

Kayla is a 4th‑generation metalworker, carrying forward a family legacy that stretches back through decades of traditional blacksmithing.

During our Open Doors Tours at the Richfield WI Farmers Market, Kayla will be in the Blacksmith Shop demonstrating the history of blacksmithing — from the tools and techniques early settlers relied on to the modern artistry she brings to her work today. She’ll also be prepping pieces for 🎨 Art at the Mill – 18th Annual Art & Fine Craft Fair, giving visitors a rare look at how her creations take shape from raw steel to finished art.

Stop by, say hi, and get a sneak peek at what she’s crafting for next weekend’s event. It’s the perfect chance to see sparks fly, hear the ring of the anvil, and watch history and creativity come together.
