This Cadastral Mapper will perform a variety of advanced level technical duties related to the use of various mapping applications and programs as needed to assist in the development and maintenance of county plats. Performs drafting and mapping of county property.

This is a full-time position with great benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, long term disability, life insurance, 401k and participation in the Utah State Retirement System! You will also receive 232 hours of PTO (Paid Time Off) each year, that increases with years of service.

Minimum qualifications for this position would be graduation from high school or equivalent, plus two (2) years of specialized training in drafting and cadastral mapping obtained through technical college or in-service workshops and on-the-job training and five (5) years of experience performing the job description related duties. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲

The Sevier County Economic Development Office has matching grant funds available to support the expansion of local businesses. The funding source has a maximum available of $200,000.

• Up to 5 grants will be awarded for up to $5,000

• The remaining funds will be awarded on a $10,000 minimum with a maximum of $100,000.

• If a company has received an award before 2026, it may apply again but only up to a maximum of $100,000 cumulative.

• This program is not available to start-up entities.

• Awardees may be required to meet with the Small Business Development Center to develop a comprehensive business plan (2 months to complete).

• Awardees may also be required to attend business management course.

The program is a 50% match outlay. For example, if a business needs to purchase equipment that costs $30,000, the grant will match up to $15,000. Funds are sent as a reimbursement basis.

Visit our website for the list of items that a business needs to submit for review. The list is not meant to be burdensome but still allows for a comprehensive review of the company. The selection criteria are based on the proposal that provides the greatest benefit to the local economy. Factors such job creation or a substantial increase in sales tax generation will be considered, for example. Other benefits can be proposed as well. Each business should describe how the grant will result in increased business activity that will in turn benefit the local economy.

A 2.5% processing fee will be applied to credit/debit card
payments.

Payments may be paid online at https://seviercounty.billtrax.com/.
There is also a drive-up drop box on the East side of the building.

Taxes are DUE by December 1, 2025

Payments must be postmarked by
December 1, 2025 to avoid penalty
