!!!JOB OPENING!!! Do you love being & working outdoors? If so, this job is for you! Sevier County is seeking qualified applicants for a W**d Control Supervisor. This position is a summer/seasonal position that would run from April through September each year. This position would not start until the Spring of 2027.

The successful applicant will perform a variety of field supervisory and journey level operator duties related to coordinating and carrying out the county-wide noxious w**d control program as established by county ordinance and/or state statute. You would also provide close to general supervision to w**d sprayers and seasonal laborers.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from high school or equivalent; plus, one (1) year of specialized training related to job description duties and four (4) years of experience in w**d control or similar work providing knowledge of herbicides, chemicals, and combinations of chemicals for effective w**d control.

Applicant must possess a valid Utah State Driver's License, a Utah UTV/ATV Certification or be willing to obtain, and a non-commercial applicators license or be willing to obtain this license.

***JOB OPENING*** Sevier County is currently seeking applicants for a part-time Correctional Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse.

This is a great part-time position that will be up to 20 hours per week in the Sevier County Jail.

The successful applicant will perform a variety of working level professional nursing services as needed to organize, coordinate, and deliver medical care services and assure compliance with medical regulations within the county correctional facility. This position will be in the Sevier County Jail and will be up to 20 hours per week.

Minimum qualifications for this position are as follows:
For LPN: Graduation from high school or equivalent, plus an associate degree or two (2) years of technical/professional training and one (1) year experience in practical nursing. For RN: Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program plus two (2) years of experience in the job description duties. (See Job Description)

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for all nursing levels.
