On Thursday, March 12th at 11:15 am, Det./Sgt. Ryan Kellackey will be at the Senior Center to give a talk on current fraud trends. Please try and stop in to listen and ask questions; we always learn something new.

And afterwards, stay for one of our delicious lunches.

Loneliness is a health threat for seniors.

Social isolation is as bad for your health as smoking 15 ci******es a day and is twice as harmful as obesity.

Make a connection. Connecting with people, purpose and passions will help eliminate feelings of isolation. Consider organizing a recurring social gathering, such as a book club or a group fitness class. Explore local activities such as those provided by our Senior Center. Join us for coffee and conversation any time, any day, breakfast on Wednesdays, lunch and/or bingo on Thursdays. We have card games, Yoga, Tai Chi, and quilting, just to name a few activities; or feel free to suggest an activity we might add. If you just want to be around people but don't really feel like talking - grab a book, curl up in a corner chair and read.

If Revere schools are closed for inclement weather, the Senior Center will still be open.

The Richfield Quilters are looking to expand their circle by inviting practitioners of any/all handwork to join them. This includes sewers, knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, card makers, and basically any other hand craft. They meet at the Senior Center every Wednesday at 9:30 am. Come enjoy good company, coffee and sweets, and also encourage each other's work.

Det./Sgt. Ryan Kellackey and guest Elliot Kolkovich, the Summit County Prosecutor, will be speaking at the Senior Center this Thursday, Nov 13th, at 11:00 am. You won't want to miss their anecdotes or a chance to ask a question.
