Today, a few members of the Richfield Springs Fire Department had the honor and privilege of taking part in the opening ceremonies for the American Legion’s 24th Annual Legacy Run at the American Legion in Oneonta, NY.

Following the ceremony, our members had the privilege of escorting the riders out of town as they began their journey.

We are proud to support and honor the American Legion, our veterans, and all those who have served our country. 🇺🇸🚒

Today, Chief Strong and Firefighter Allison participated in the CNY Stair Climb, climbing in remembrance of the 343 firefighters and all those who lost their lives 25 years ago on September 11, 2001.

They also climbed with a special remembrance for Ilion firefighter/paramedic Ashley Faubert, honoring her dedication and service.

We are proud of Chief Strong and Firefighter Allison for taking part in this meaningful event and helping ensure that we never forget.

 🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU FROM THE RICHFIELD SPRINGS FIRE DEPARTMENT! 🚒

Today, members of the Richfield Springs Fire Department spent some time on Main Street hosting our annual Boot Drive, raising money to support our department.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who stopped by, donated, and supported our firefighters. Your generosity means so much to us and helps us continue serving and protecting our community. ❤️‍🔥

💚 Dunk Tank Update! 💚

We had an incredible turnout for the dunk tank at our Annual Co****le Tournament & Fundraiser on August 22nd! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, took their shot at the dunk tank, donated, and supported both the Richfield Springs Fire Department and the Believe 271 Foundation.

Thanks to your generosity, the dunk tank raised an amazing $1,032 for Believe 271! 🎉 Tonight, we were proud to officially present the check to Believe 271 and see all of that community support come full circle.

A special congratulations to our top three dunk tank participants who raised the most donations:
