There has been a confirmed sighting of a black bear in the area of Middle Holland Road and Saint Leonards Road in the Holland section of Northampton Township. If you see it, please do not approach it and contact Police immediately.
The Game Commission has been notified.

This week, C Platoon attended the 5K and fun run on Sunday. Crews continued our annual hose testing between handling inspections and calls, including an adventurous critter that needed some assistance. Training and community outreach filled in the gaps, and a special thank you to and Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home for dropping off pizza and treats for the crews!

The B Platoon was out yesterday conducting fire inspections. Annual fire inspections are a requirement and provided to our businesses free of charge by the NTFD. This is an important part of keeping our community safe, and a great way to connect with tenants and the public while providing a valuable service.

I recently welcomed members of the Northampton Township Fire Company to my office for a routine fire inspection.

The inspection helped identify potential fire hazards and confirm that important safety equipment, including alarms, extinguishers and sprinkler systems, are functioning properly.

Thank you to the firefighters and volunteers of Northampton Township Fire Company for everything they do to protect our community each day.

Water safety is more than just swimming pools. Lakes, ponds, retention basins and more commonly for us the Neshaminy Creek all can pose risks whether you’re in the water or near it! Always be alert!
