This morning, Council Rock High School South hosted a memorial ceremony in the Sculpture Garden, giving our community a moment to reflect and honor those whose lives were forever changed. The World Trade Center I-beam artifact, “Reflecting Hope,” stands as a lasting reminder of the lives lost and the courage shown that day.

We honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who endured unimaginable loss, and all who served and sacrificed in the years that followed.

Thank you to Council Rock High School South for hosting this meaningful ceremony and providing our community with an opportunity to remember and honor.

Just a quick reminder before we head into the weekend. We have a collection box set up inside our station for Dream Drive, a local non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and underprivileged families throughout Bucks County and the surrounding areas.

There are also collection boxes set up at the Northampton Township Library, Northampton Township Recreation Center, Northampton Township Fire Department, and Northampton Township Administration Building.

On Thursday afternoon, Box 3-7 was dispatched for a Marine Rescue, sending the B Platoon and volunteers to Neshaminy Creek near the Sacketts Ford Road railroad bridge for a kayaker in distress. The kayaker was able to get to a position of safety and await rescuers to assist him out of the water. Earlier that morning, the A Platoon and volunteers responded with the Ivyland Fire Company on box 62-1 for a working building fire.

Yesterday, staff from the A platoon and volunteers took advantage of the weather and conducted truck company competency training focusing on riding assignments. Afterwards, crews were out familiarizing with new construction in the local, identifying construction features and getting familiar with floor plan layouts.
