Our friends at the Collin County Democratic Party are organizing a block walk in the Collin County side of Richardson on Saturday, September 12.

They’ll be talking with Democratic voters about their ballots, making a plan to vote, and supporting candidates up and down the ticket, including Dan Barrios for U.S. Congress, District 32.

Training is provided, and new volunteers can be paired with someone experienced.

An evening of remembrance, reflection, and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined Richardson Area Democrats for our Juneteenth Eve celebration at Northside Drafthouse & Eatery on the UTD campus.

We were honored to hear from community leaders including Derek Avery of Water for Sand Branch, Randall Bryant of DART, Tonya Dangerfield, Chair of the Collin-Denton County Chapter of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, and Reverend Antonio Reed of the NAACP Collin County Branch.

The evening was made even more special by live music from Gabe Meadows and The Lush Life Trio.

Thank you to our partners at the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats and Plano Area Democrats, and to all who came together to celebrate freedom, honor history, and strengthen community.

3500 were first-time primary voters.
