An evening of remembrance, reflection, and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined Richardson Area Democrats for our Juneteenth Eve celebration at Northside Drafthouse & Eatery on the UTD campus.

We were honored to hear from community leaders including Derek Avery of Water for Sand Branch, Randall Bryant of DART, Tonya Dangerfield, Chair of the Collin-Denton County Chapter of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, and Reverend Antonio Reed of the NAACP Collin County Branch.

The evening was made even more special by live music from Gabe Meadows and The Lush Life Trio.

Thank you to our partners at the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats and Plano Area Democrats, and to all who came together to celebrate freedom, honor history, and strengthen community.

RAD brought together local leaders, organizers, and veteran candidates at this month's RAD Happy Hour to build momentum and support the people stepping forward to lead.

Military Appreciation Month is about more than recognition. It’s about showing up for the veterans continuing to serve our communities right here in North Texas. 🇺🇸

From now through May 25, donations made through this fundraiser will be split between four veteran candidates.
