So, you want to teach at RALC, but you don’t have teaching experience…no problem! 🍎

We provide the training you need to be effective, plus regular roundtable discussions where teachers share best practices and get ongoing support.

Many of our teachers hold or are working toward a TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate, but the most important skills you can have are actually quite simple: come prepared, engage your students, and show kindness and consideration.

We can help guide you through the rest. You can also email us at [email protected] with additional questions.

He came to Richardson Adult Literacy Center still finding his footing in English. Today, he's telling his teachers something they love to hear: because of them, he has a better job.

Language is Life.

For RALC students, that's the line between staying in a job you're stuck in and stepping into one you're proud of, between filling out an application by guessing and filling it out with confidence.

North Texas Giving Day is happening now, and every gift helps write the next story like this. A huge THANK YOU to , who covers all transaction and technology fees, so every single dollar you give goes directly toward supporting literacy across North Texas.

Will you help another student get their thank you moment?

It's North Texas Giving Day season, and we're giving back too!

This week, we're giving away children's books to our adult students so they can read with their kids at home.

This is part of something bigger. 45% of our students say learning English has helped them support their child's schoolwork or education. That's how RALC impacts not just one life, but a whole family.

Do good, y'all. Support us this North Texas Giving Day so we can keep giving back.
