5:00 PM SATURDAY - Outflow boundary development failed, but severe storms have now gotten going along the cold front. These will push south slowly this evening toward the Kansas City Metro with a lightning & high wind threat. The hail/tornado risk slowly decreases the later we get into the night. Overall a good trend for the Metro in terms of severe weather, but winds/lightning still likely a thing closer to sunset. FOX4 News Kansas City
