ATTENTION: Rich Creek Autumn Fest is coming back!!
Saturday, September 12th.
10 am to 10pm. Craft Vendors, Food, Drinks, Inflatables, Dunk Tank, Foam truck, Line Dancing…..
Sunday, September 13th, we will continue our festivities at the Rich Creek community center with Community Sunday Celebration of Faith. Starting at 2:00, we will have music by local musicians and our speaker will be Alex Webb.
Hot dog sale provided by Rich Creek fire department, starts at 12:30.

Our participation in the 2026 annual Fireman’s Rodeo in Alderson, WV was a huge success!! We brought home 1st place in Tug of War, Hose Relay, and the Obstacle course, earning us with 1st Place Overall! 🏆 🚒

Yesterday we headed to Alderson, WV for the annual Fireman’s Rodeo, and after a evening of hard work, teamwork, and competition, we’re bringing the gold back home. 🏆 1st Place Overall. Couldn’t be prouder of this crew and everyone who represented us. Way to get it done! 🚒

On Monday, May 25th the town of Rich Creek will be having a Memorial service to honor military personnel who died while serving.
A special invitation goes out to All veterans and their families, and everyone is welcome to attend.
At 12:30 there is a free lunch being provided by the Faithful Feeds Ministry at the First Baptist Church.
At 1:30 the service will start and take place in the parking lot of the town office.
Also, the town history will be on display in the lobby of the town office. This will be available to the public starting Monday, May 25th from 12-2 and going to June 15th. Visitation is available Monday -Friday during the office business hours. Everyone is welcome!
