Northwest United Educators

Northwest United Educators Northwest United Educators (NUE) is a labor union for public employees, primarily school employees.

NUE is a UniServe (Unified Service office) affiliated with the Wisconsin Education Association Council (WEAC) and the National Education Association (NEA). NUE represents school employees in the following Wisconsin counties: Barron, Burnette, Chippewa, Polk, Sawyer, and Washburn, plus some Barron County Courthouse employees.

For the past couple of years since it was created I have kept this page as up-to-date and interesting as I could. Now I am retiring from NUE, with my last day in the office being April 29. Unless or until someone else steps forward to maintain the page, please don't look for any more new material. Thanks to the handful of members and others who visited. Rep Smith [email protected] needs your help with constituent contact on the following dates at the appointed times:

April 12 - Rice Lake doors 10am to 2pm (follow up coffee on April 15 at the Norske Nook in Rice Lake 11am to 12:30pm).

April 20 - Shell Lake doors 10:30am to 2:30pm (follow up coffee, April 22 at the Lakeview Bar and Grill in Shell Lake 11am to 12:30pm). THIS COFFEE WILL BE ADVERTISED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC SO SPREAD THE WORD.

April 26 - Cumberland doors 9:30am to 12 noon (follow up coffee April 29 @ TBD in Cumberland @ time TBD)

Anything you can do to sign up volunteers to help will be appreciated.
