🚲 ROOTED IN RIALTO | Don’s Bikes

For more than 66 years, Don’s Bikes has been part of the Rialto community!

Opening on April 1, 1959, as a small neighborhood bike shop, the business has grown through generations while continuing its commitment to cycling, health, recreation, and community.

Today, Scott McAfee and the Don’s Bikes team offer everything from entry-level and used bikes to high-end carbon bikes, e-bikes, electric motorcycles, accessories, and professional bicycle repairs.

But Don’s Bikes is about more than bicycles. They continue to give back by partnering with the City, supporting local events, and helping introduce the next generation to the joy of cycling.

As Scott puts it, the community has given so much to Don’s Bikes — and giving back is part of what has kept them Rooted in Rialto for more than six decades. ❤️

Rialto Water Services is rolling out an $8 million grant-funded Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program to upgrade over 12,000 outdated water meters with smart technology! 💧

Following meter audits completed earlier this year, we are getting ready for the next phase of replacements. Here is what to expect in the coming months:

📬 Pre-Installation Notice: You’ll receive a postcard in the mail before work begins in your neighborhood.
🚪 Installation Completion: Crews will leave a door tag at your residence once your new meter is installed.
🗓️ Citywide Schedule: A finalized timeline will be released soon.

With zero extra costs for residents, this project provides more accurate billing, faster leak detection and better access to your household water usage data.
