6,000 followers?! That’s a lot of people watching us sit in parking lots… 👀🚔

Seriously though — thank you, Rhome. Your support, encouragement, shares, comments, tips, and community involvement mean everything to us. We’re proud to serve a city that backs its police department the way this community does.

From traffic stops to community events, from serious calls to our occasional Facebook shenanigans — thank you for being part of it all.

Here’s to 6,000 followers and continuing to build a safer, stronger community together.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day and will never be forgotten.

This Memorial Day, the Rhome Police Department stands with our community in honoring our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry on their legacy.

May we never forget the true meaning of this day.

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded a $1,000 grant from the Texas Police Chiefs Association toward the purchase of Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs) and emergency medical equipment for our officers and patrol units!

Today, we received 12 officer IFAKs and 10 trauma medical kits that will be placed in our patrol vehicles to better equip our officers to respond to medical emergencies and traumatic injuries in the field.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Texas Police Chiefs Association and Con10gency Consulting for providing this funding and supporting officer and community safety initiatives across Texas.

Police officers are often the first to arrive on scene during emergencies, sometimes several minutes before medical personnel. In critical incidents involving severe bleeding, trauma, or life-threatening injuries, those first few minutes can make the difference between life and death. These medical kits provide our officers with the tools necessary to immediately render aid to victims, motorists, fellow officers, and members of our community until advanced medical personnel arrive.

This investment reflects our continued commitment to protecting and serving the citizens of Rhome through preparedness, professionalism, and proactive public safety efforts.

We are grateful for the continued support of organizations that recognize the importance of equipping law enforcement officers with lifesaving resources.

Rhome PD has received multiple reports of a suspicious individual attempting to lure citizens into Chick-fil-A with promises of waffle fries and milkshakes. 🐄🚔

Chief Bocconcelli responded immediately and made contact with the suspect. After a brief interview, it was determined the cow was:
• Extremely friendly
• Armed with coupons
• Operating without any criminal moo-tive

The scene was cleared shortly after, although the Chief may have remained on location for “additional investigation” involving a spicy chicken sandwich. 🍟🍔

As always, thank you for supporting your Rhome Police Department — protecting the city one lunch break at a time. 🫡

Happy Administrative Professionals Day to this young lady! Lisa has taken matriarchal role in our dysfunctional work family! She strives for order while we thrive in chaos, yet somehow it works! Lisa takes on more responsibilities than a job description could encompass and is the dictionary definition of “and other duties as assigned”. We are blessed to have her on our team. Enjoy your day ma’am!

Rhome, it’s that time again — National Night Out is coming!

Come hang out with your local officers, check out some cool equipment, and let the kids burn off some energy (we won’t write them a ticket for it 😄).
