Last week something really cool happened. One of our volunteers got his Christmas present early. His official helmet shield and number. And it was hand delivered by Santa himself! We would like to welcome Blaine Borghesi to our fire family. Blaine is now a full time paid firefighter assigned to A shift. Blaine is a graduate of our fire academy and a Wise County local. Welcome to the best job in the world!

🌧️🥶Due to inclement weather, tonight’s Santa Sightings has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Tuesday December 2nd from 5:30-8:30 pm.

While 4 of us from Rhome Fire Rescue were at Ft Worth stair climb another member did a walk in gear with flag to show support for the fallen of 9-11. Proud of him and everyone at Rhome Fire Rescue.

Yesterday was the Ft Worth stair climb in honor of the fallen of 9-11. I was lucky enough to climb with 3 of our probationary firefighters from our last recruit class. They represented Rhome proudly and I am very proud of the never give up attitude they displayed.
