The ideal candidate will be a dependable, self-motivated Overnight Team Member who seeks to join our mission of serving our unhoused neighbors.

This position is ideal for individuals who work well independently, take initiative without constant supervision, remain alert throughout the entire overnight shift, and understand the importance of providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for our residents.

✔ Every other weekend schedule
✔ Overnight hours
✔ $16–18/hour based on experience
✔ Meaningful nonprofit work directly impacting & changing lives

MUST!
• Stay awake, attentive, and engaged for the full shift
• Should be able to think critically and respond calmly in real-time situations
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and compassion
• Are proactive and willing to step in where needed
• Value dignity, safety, and human connection

We’re incredibly grateful for this opportunity! And our building? Well it’s sincerely happy to get a much needed facelift.

Highlighting Grant #27 in our 2026 grant cycle: $1,500 to NATH

A $1,500 grant was given to NATH with an additional fundraising contingency. It will be used toward new siding on the exterior of their building.

This grant will be funded by the Rhinelander Community Endowment Fund.

We are so grateful for local businesses like Cool Beans that continuously give back and support organizations throughout our community. Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference.

ANGEL DONOR REQUESTED

We have a Veteran living with us who needs to get home.

To maintain integrity & dignity - we cannot share too much of the story. What we can share is this, the individual has several bills that need to be addressed so they can move back into their home.

The homeless situation was a result of a medical related situation that caused a snowball effect on their employment & finances. Additionally, the individual is now unable to work.

Here’s the need, maybe your family or agency can help:

1. $800 electric bill.
2. A dependable & safe vehicle w/ registration/licensing/insurance fees covered for a year.
3. Internet or hotspot coverage for 6 months.

Veteran, elder, awaiting social security processing, awaiting sustainable financial support application processing.
