Our department had the privilege of es**rting The Wall That Heals memorial to its home for the next several days. As a U.S. Army veteran and an American, I’m humbled seeing the show of support that lined the streets for our Vietnam Veterans and many others who never got their homecoming. Our flag flew high and many in every City and Town we passed.

Stop by to pay your respects, educate yourselves, and thank god that men and woman such as these have lived.

What a sight to see.

More than 68 motorcycles joined first responders from White, Cass, and Miami counties to es**rt The Wall That Heals into White County today. After miles of support from communities along the route, these riders gathered in front of the Wall for a powerful moment of reflection and pride.

Their presence helped create a welcome worthy of the veterans this exhibit honors. Through the roar of engines, waving flags, and many miles traveled, they carried a message that echoed throughout our communities:

Welcome Home.

To every rider, first responder, veteran, and supporter who participated in today's es**rt—thank you. Your dedication, patriotism, and willingness to be part of something larger than yourselves helped make this an unforgettable day for our community.

The Wall That Heals will set up tomorrow, and be ready for visitors the 4th through the 7th.

This month, we recognize two important milestones within our Reserve Unit: Reserve Sergeant Mitch Michal’s seven years of dedicated service, and the one-year anniversaries of Reserve Deputy Marshals Alex Miracle and Ty Bartley.

Collectively, these officers have contributed thousands of volunteer hours both day and night in service to our community. Over the past year, they have been responsible for 46 arrests, including nine felony cases. Their efforts have also led to the removal of 13 impaired drivers from our roadways and the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs.

We sincerely commend these officers for their commitment to service, ongoing training, and the safety of our community. Congratulations to each of them on reaching these notable milestones!

This weekend during child abuse awareness month the Reynolds Police Department was proud to take part in and support the 4th annual White County Department of Child Services “Get out and Go Fest”. This event is aimed at bringing children and families together to learn about services the community has to offer bringing awareness to child abuse.

Today we want to take a moment to recognize one of our most dedicated and courageous partners, our Police K9 Dingo. 🐾

Day in and day out, this incredible dog serves alongside their handler with loyalty, intelligence, and bravery. Whether it’s tracking, searching, protecting, or simply being a comforting presence in tough situations, they give their all without hesitation.

Behind every successful mission is countless hours of training, an unbreakable bond with their handler, and a heart full of determination. We are grateful not only for the work they do but also for the joy and pride they bring to our department and community.

Congratulations Deputy Marshal Ty Bartley on your CIT completion. We know this training will serve you well in your full time role as well as the Departments.

Congratulations to the 30+ officers and first responders who graduated from the 40-hour Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training program this week as part of the Spring 2026 training!

At NAMI West Central Indiana, we are proud to help train, organize, and support the CIT program. This program equips officers and first responders with the skills to recognize signs of mental illness, de-escalate crisis situations, and connect individuals to appropriate care. Instead of defaulting to arrest or incarceration, CIT-trained responders help ensure that people in crisis are treated with dignity and compassion.
