Born June 15 and President of Ricks College from 1997 to 2004. Under his leadership, Ricks College became BYU–Idaho.
He once said BYU–Idaho is a "Disciple Preparation Center" — a place to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
His legacy still lives on our campus today.

Fifty years later, these images from our archive tell the story that words alone cannot.

If you know of additional myths, miracles, or moments not mentioned here, please contact [email protected].
