We would like to take a moment to honor our beloved team member Kirbi Nelson who unexpectedly passed this week. Kirbi was an exemplary employee contributing over 30 years in public service here at Madison County Road & Bridge. Kirbi was known for being on time and never putting in anything less than an honest hard day's work.
He was a great example of dedication ----- often being the first to head out of the yard in the morning and the last to shutdown. Kirbi never compromised his belief in doing things the right way and even thirty two years into his job he took delight in learning something new every day.
He was an amazing teammate, father, grandfather and a dear friend to many of his teammates over the years. Our condolences go out to his family and loved ones. He will be missed sorely.
