Everyone is welcome!!!

You are cordially invited to the grand opening of the brand-new and long-awaited McMackin Field this Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 6:00pm at McMackin Field (205 Winthrop Avenue).

The event will feature a special dedication of the field, a brief documentary presentation by local filmmaker Brandon Brito, and more.

The City of Revere will be offering a FREE shuttle service running between City Hall (281 Broadway) to McMackin Field beginning at 5:30pm to ensure convenient parking and access to the event. Please park at the City Hall Lot (behind City Hall) and look out for our shuttle pickup checkpoint.

We can't wait to see you there. Thank you!

Applications Open September 15 for 2026 Senior Citizen Home Repairs Program

The Senior Citizen Home Repairs program returns for 2026, with applications opening on Tuesday, September 15. The application will be available at www.revere.org and in [email protected]@revere.org at the DPCD office.

Eligible seniors are those who are 60+ and own and occupy their homes as year-round Revere residents, and whose income is below 80% AMI ($91,200 for a household of one, $104,200 for a household of 2).

Applicants must provide a contractor’s quote/estimate for the work to be completed. Approved applicants will be awarded up to $6,000 or the cost of the project, whichever is lower. A total of $85,000 will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

Funding for this program is provided and administered by the City of Revere Affordable Housing Trust Fund. With questions, please contact [email protected]

The City of Revere is thrilled to announce the return of the Revere5K! As many of you might know, the Revere5K is a cherished community tradition that has brought residents together for years. Although the event hasn't been held in a few years, we are excited to revive it in 2026 with a renewed purpose: supporting the Revere Community Scholarship Fund.
The scholarship fund helps graduating Revere seniors pursue their college goals. Eligible recipients demonstrate outstanding community service, strong character, academic achievement, and leadership.
