Our Youth Action Council at Republic County High School has been hard at work planning a Pickleball Tournament and they’re ready for you to join in on the fun!

This event is completely youth-led, from idea to ex*****on, and it’s a great example of what happens when we empower young people to give back.

Grab a partner, sign up, and come support their efforts! 🏓

All proceeds will go toward the addition of a pickleball court at the city park! These kids are leaving a lasting impact for the whole community. 💙

City water will be disconnected again this coming Monday, December 22nd, in the afternoon.

This will affect the entire city. Please plan ahead and ensure you have adequate water available.

Water service will be turned off for the entire city on Monday (12/15) and Tuesday (12/16) afternoons. Water services will be turned back on in the evenings. Residents are encouraged to prepare in advance.

We're hoping everyone can come to our Ray Hobson Memorial Library Christmas open house next Sunday December 7th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. We will have lots of goodies to eat while you enjoy our basement renovations. You can browse through our mini Museum area which features many old items from the city of Republic and lots of pictures! You can sit and visit in front of our fireplace and the kids can play in the Kids Corner. See you then!
