What an incredible celebration! A huge thank you to the Reno+Sparks Chamber of Commerce for joining us to officially cut the ribbon at our St. Vincent's Food Pantry on Eureka Ave. in Reno.

We're so proud to bring this patron-choice pantry to the heart of downtown, allowing our neighbors to select the food that best meets their needs and preferences. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our mission!

A big shout-out to the amazing team from Clasen Quality Chocolate in Sparks for volunteering at ourFeeding Pets of the Homeless pet clinic!

This was their second year participating in the event, and they were instrumental in making it a success. From setting up and breaking down the clinic infrastructure to distributing pet food, treats, and supplies, the volunteers stepped up wherever help was needed.

They also assisted with participant registration, kept water bowls full throughout the day, and went the extra mile by visiting with people and their pets, offering snacks and treats to keep both tails and spirits wagging.

We're incredibly grateful for their hard work, compassion, and dedication to serving pets and their families in need. Thank you, Clasen volunteers, for helping make this event such a success!

It's with a heavy heart that we announce this will be our final week of operation at our current location in Winnemucca.

While we're sad to close this chapter, please know it's been an absolute honor to serve this community through the Neighborhood Pantry. Due to the expiration of our grant and lease, we must transition our operations.

We're currently finalizing details, but we're committed to continuing our mission! Please stay tuned—we'll share more information with you as soon as it is available.

We’re proud to announce that Catholic Charities USA has chosen us as an official Emergency Hub!

With our warehouse space and fleet, we’re now better equipped to respond to natural disasters across Northern Nevada and Northern California. We’ve already received 52 pallets—a massive wall of emergency supplies including hygiene kits, blankets, baby items, and more. We are ready to help when our neighbors need it most!

Last week was a time for celebration in the St. Vincent’s Dining Room! We were so happy to celebrate the birthdays of Carl, Mike, and John.

A huge, heartfelt shoutout to our incredible volunteer, Lynne. She never misses a birthday and always goes the extra mile by cooking delicious, homemade treats to celebrate birthdays. This time, she spoiled us with stuffed tomatoes, brownies, and chocolate toffee with nuts!

Thank you, Lynne, for bringing so much joy and kindness to our community. Happy birthday again to our special birthday guys!

A big shout out to Molina Healthcare of Nevada and Mr. Bubbles Laundromat - Grove St Reno. With costs rising at the pump and the grocery store, providing free laundry service is a huge relief for our neighbors. We're so grateful for your sponsorship of this laundry event, which served 40 local families! Your support is a true blessing to the families we serve.

Molina Healthcare of Nevada, Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada & The St. Vincent's Programs and Mr. Bubbles Laundromat - Grove St Reno came together to host a Free Laundry Day for our community in Washoe County. 🧺💙

We were honored to serve 40 families where we provided two loads of wash and dry per household. It was an incredible afternoon supporting our neighbors and making a small difference in everyday essentials.
