Patriots versus the Seahawks

Reno Central Rotary is pleased announce our 13th year to hold a Super Bowl raffle as part of our fund-raising efforts and this year, There is also a match to the Club of $15,000 so it is possible we could raise over $30,000 for the Club if we hit last year’s total.

Please come and join in on the fun this year! You can win as much as $1,000 each quarter... Rooting for your squares while you watch the Big Game! One square on the grid costs $100, or you can buy 3 squares for only $250. You can, of course, buy as many squares as you would like. It is a standard 100 square “blind” pool. A single entry could win you up to $4,000! (If the score at the end of each quarter ends with your same 2 numbers.)

With your help, hopefully we will fill at least three boards this year... How can you help, you ask?:

1. You can purchase squares - Would you like 1 for $100, or Can we put you down for 3 squares this year for $250? and/or

2. You can also help by forwarding this email to a few friends and asking them to join in on the fun as well. If we all sell a few squares, this will be a very successful fundraiser!

No pressure here - This is a FUN and EASY fundraiser.

Raffle sales will stop at Noon on Saturday February 7th, 2025 (the day before the Super Bowl), and we will pick the NFC and AFC numbers randomly and will email your numbers and a copy of the pool back to you by 3pm on the 8th of February.

If you want to have some fun, gamble on the score of the game at the end of each quarter of play, and raise funds to support the programs of the Reno Central Rotary Club, then join us and support this fund-raiser!

We can accept Cash or Checks or you can also use three payment methods to me personally and I will pay the Club. Please see the attached “Ways to Pay.”.

Please feel free to email me [email protected], or call me at (775) 813-3737 with any questions.

In January 2025, Reno Central Rotary Member, Amy Guinan, joined a service trip to the red-light district of Pattaya, Thailand, where over 100,000 women, men, and youth are ensnared in debt prostitution. The unofficial s*x tourism capital of the world, Pattaya sees women, men, youth, and refugees working in the bars, on the street, and on the beach, working to survive and to support their immediate and extended families.
Working with Operation Mobilization, Amy and her cohort of six, were able to support the Tamar Center, a Thai-based non-profit organization that provides alternative vocational training and job placement (hospitality, culinary skills, hair and nail design, basic tech skills),free English classes, and counseling for s*x workers as they attempt to leave the s*x tourism industry. The model provides support, skill development and subsidized housing to all participants and their families. In February of 2026, Amy and her team are returning to Pattaya to continue this important work. With the $5,000 grant from Reno Rotary Central, the Tamar Center will be able to expand their outreach and impact with vocational training and the free English classes. Identified as a global grants opportunity, Amy will work to connect with a Thailand-based Rotary club to partner on the project.
