Join us for a community health fair to help build community resilience by connecting people with local assistance and raising awareness about the value of preventive health.

This year we're excited to welcome William Bee Ririe Hospital, who will be onsite offering low-cost laboratory screenings and information about expanded healthcare services coming to Esmeralda County. No insurance required for lab testing.

This webinar explores culture as a primary medicine in Native communities and a key foundation for opioid prevention, treatment, and recovery support. These interactive workshops are designed for three audiences:
1️⃣ Adolescent service providers
2️⃣ Community health workers/other health professionals
3️⃣ Criminal justice professionals

The 3-hour interactive/in-person workshops will equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify, prevent, and respond to unhealthy alcohol and substance use in their service settings.

Participants will build skills in Motivational Interviewing informed communication, learn how to support individuals through behavior change conversations, and explore ways to address system level barriers that can impede access to care.
