πŸš’ Great News for Our Community! πŸš’

The Reno Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce that our ISO (Insurance Services Office) Public Protection Classification has improved from a Class 6X to a Class 5 / 5X rating.
What does this mean? In many cases, a lower ISO rating can help homeowners and businesses save money on insurance premiums. While savings vary by insurance company and policy, improved ratings often reflect a stronger fire protection system for our community.
This evaluation only takes place approximately every 5 years, making this improvement a direct result of years of hard work, training, dedication, equipment improvements, record keeping, and commitment from our members.
Our volunteers and personnel continually strive to provide the best service possible while being mindful of our taxpayers and the community we protect. This achievement belongs to every member who attends training, responds to emergencies, supports fundraising efforts, maintains equipment, and works behind the scenes.
Thank you to our members, mutual aid partners, township officials, and the community for your continued support. We will continue working to improve, grow, and provide the highest level of service possible.
Serving our community with pride β€” yesterday, today, and tomorrow. β€οΈπŸš’

Happy National EMS Week. πŸš‘β€οΈ

We truly have some of the best EMS personnel. This week, we honor the providers who answer the call no matter the time, the weather, or how tired they may be. Thank you for showing up on people’s worst days and giving them comfort, care, and hope.

Your dedication, compassion, and sacrifice never go unnoticed. Thank you to every EMS provider for everything you do for your communities every single day.
