On Thursday, June 4th, our Seniors presented their Capstone Projects. The presentations were held in the high school library media center and were open to faculty, staff, administrators, family members, students and other guests that were able to attend.

The Capstone Projects are completed in a students senior year of high school. Students select their topic, or area of interest, early in the school year and then engage in research throughout the school year, journaling and reporting their findings as they go. The culminating project is a website, built by the student using Google Sites. The website describes the student's topic and provides details about their research and their experience with the Capstone Project.

On Tuesday, June 2nd, our seniors were invited to participate in an "Anything but a backpack" challenge. Our senior rose to the occasion and brought in just about everything including a "not so small" dresser and a motorized vehicle to carry their belongings around in for the day. Other items included a fun little Cozy Coupe cart, a TacoBell container, a golf bag, shelves, coolers, and various other containers and items.

Thank you to our seniors for their participation and thank you to Mrs. Taylor for organizing this event.
